Normally, 1 bottle of drops per eye is sufficient, i.e., 1 bottle of Tobradex and 1 bottle of Dicloabak. If you run out, you can always request an extra prescription by phone or email. This is only necessary for Tobradex drops. One bottle of Dicloabak is always sufficient.

The first week, it is important to keep the bottles for each eye separate. After the first week, you may use the same bottle of drops for both eyes.

• Tobradex eye drops 4 times a day for 2 weeks, 2 times a day for 2 weeks
• Dicloabak eye drops 4 times a day for 2 weeks, 3 times a day for 2 weeks

• Xanax 0.5mg - 2 tablets for sleeping
  • provided at the hospital

Eye Drops:

• Trafloxal EDO eye drops
  • 3 times a day
• Systane UD or another artificial tear
  • Every hour the first weeks, then less frequently depending on progress
• Dexamethasone EDO
  • 3 times a day for the first 2 weeks
  • 2 times a day for the third and fourth weeks
  • 1 time a day for the fifth and sixth weeks‍

Additionally:

• Vitamin C 1g for 3 months

For pain:

• Paracetamol 1 gram: max 4 times a day (every 6 hours)
• Ibuprofen EG dragees 400 mg: up to 3 times a day starting the second day (every 8 hours)
• Tradonal 50mg ODIS dissolvable tablet
  • max 3 times a day (every 8 hours)
  • Only when extra pain medication is needed, provided by the doctor on the day of the treatment

Sleeping Medication:

• Xanax 0.5mg provided by the doctor on the day of the treatment

Eye Drops:

• Trafloxal eye drops: 3 times a day until the epithelium is closed (usually 3-4 days)
• FML drops
  • 4 times a day, start only after the advice of the ophthalmologist once the epithelial defect is closed
  • First week: 4 times 1 drop per day
  • Second week: 3 times 1 drop per day
  • Third week: 2 times 1 drop per day
  • Fourth week: 1 time 1 drop per day
